Dr. Wenrick has always had a passion for education and seeking. She is particularly fascinated about the function of the human body in its entirety. Thus, the reason why she challenges herself in the treatment of TMJ & Craniofacial Pain, Sleep Breathing Disorders and General Dentistry. Most of these disorders almost always present themselves with warning signs on the teeth and in the mouth in the early stages of disorder.
Because of Dr. Wenrick’s passion for thought-provoking medical and dental challenges, for the past twenty-one years, she has extensively studied Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Sleep Breathing Disorders and their link. She has been blessed with some of the best leading educators in her field of study to further the assurance of successful consistent treatment results.
Consider this quote from an unknown author:
“The superior doctor prevents sickness;
The mediocre doctor attends to impending sickness;
The inferior doctor treats actual sickness.”
In a world so full of medical educational advancement, we should be able to catch and “prevent” many disorders before they have an opportunity to become debilitating and lessen the quality of life. However, in order to do so, a collaborative team between doctors and patients is an absolute necessity for properly diagnosing and developing a plan for treatment.
Dr. Wenrick has immense training and experience in Forensic Odontology and is also a medical missionary. She has traveled to several third world countries performing oral surgery for those in need. Lord willing, she hopes to retire her career living abroad as a missionary dentist. Dr. Wenrick enjoys her spare time on her farm caring for animals who have been abandoned on her property over the past fifteen years.
