You are most likely on this page because you want to find answers to your insurance coverage questions. Below, read the answers to the most common questions we get regarding insurance coverage.
“Do you take my insurance?”
To start, we are a fee for service practice, which means you have to pay the office at the time services are rendered. Services for TMJ would be covered by your medical insurance plan.
“What kind of coverage do I have for TMJ services?”
Insurance companies, in most cases, do not provide coverage for conservative therapies that treat jaw joint disorders. At this time, nonsurgical care is not organized for negotiation with insurance companies in the state of Tennessee.
There are too many plans out there for us to answer specific questions regarding your coverage, meaning you should contact your insurance company to ask about plan details.
How do I file my own insurance claim?
Our office will assist patients with filing their own claims to insurance for possible reimbursement. Ask your insurance company what their requirements are for submitting your own claim for reimbursement. Our office will be happy to provide you with a statement showing you paid our office in full and Dr. Wenrick’s notes.
